3D objects

In this course, we will see how to create surfaces and primitive volumes in Rhino. We chose to separate the primitives from Breps because primitives are still relatively simple to generate, and in that sense are comparable to 2D objects. They also offer a good introduction to 3D objects before the more complex Breps.

We will cover planar and nurbs surfaces, as well as boxes and cylinders. We chose to skip the sphere and cone primitives, as they are not as common as boxes and cylinders in architecture and construction.
